COVID-19 Protocols

At Belmont Redwood Shore Little League our very first priority is to keep the players, coaches, volunteers and families safe. By participating in Belmont Redwood Shores Little League events you agree to comply with these protocols. As conditions change surrounding the Covid-19 virus, BRSLL will reassess this protocol and make changes as necessary.

Belmont Redwood Shores Little League will be following the guidance that is outlined by both the California Department of Public Health as well as Belmont Redwood Shores School District. If and when exposures happen we will refer to those policies in order to guide our response and notify the affected persons. With this as our guide, we ask that you adhere to the following Covid-19 safety protocols:

  • BRSLL activities are mostly held outdoors. As of right now masks are not required but are encouraged. Areas where physical distancing cannot be maintained (dugouts, batting cages, etc.) are places where masking is highly encouraged. As conditions shift, this mask policy may be changed. Check the league website for the most up to date mask policy.
  • Equipment sharing should be kept to a minimum. When equipment is shared parents, and/or coaches may wipe down the equipment prior to use if they want to, but it is not required.
  • There should be no sharing of water bottles or food. If snacks or drinks are going to be provided by a parent(s) they should be individually packaged and enjoyed outside of the dugout.
  • Vaccinations are strongly recommended for all volunteers and eligible players, but are not required to participate in BRSLL activities.
  • Do not come to, or participate in any BRSLL activities if you have tested positive for Covid-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive or is infected with Covid-19. Contact your team’s manager to inform them of the situation.
  • If you are feeling ill or have symptoms indicating that you are not well, do not come to, or participate in any BRSLL activities. Contact your team’s manager and inform them of the situation.

If a player tests positive for Covid-19 we ask that you contact Safety Officers Tim Evans and Ken Loo by emailing safety@brsll.org. Once notified we will determine what persons and families need to be notified.. We will also work with you to help determine when your child can resume BRSLL activities.

If you have questions about these policies please reach out to safety@brsll.org. We look forward to partnering with you to keep our entire baseball community safe and on the field.
